Company Member 2006-current

LeAnne Vancil Hynes has been choreographing and performing in Chicago since 1994 and is in her third season with Breakbone DanceCo. In August 2006 she traveled with the company to Toronto and Chicago to perform Logotype and in December 2007 was part of the Datastarve sextet performing in Chicago. Ms. Hynes was also a founding member of the Anatomical Theatre with whom she worked for over a decade as a performer, choreographer and director. Her choreography has been showcased in New York City, Monaco (France), Toronto, Canada and Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, as well as many festivals in Chicago such as the Ruth Page Dance Series, Dance Chicago, Duets for my Valentine, Around the Coyote, and independent events. Ms. Hynes received her BFA in Dance with a Major in English from Western Michigan University and is currently completing her Masters in Elementary Education at Saint Xavier University in Chicago. She was married in September and is now a "suburbanite" living in Orland Park with her five step-daughters and her ten-year-old son, Aidan.
