Mindy MeyersFounding Company Member 2002-current

Celebrating her 14th year of dancing in Chicago, Mindy Meyers is currently a member of both Breakbone DanceCo and CBDC while continuing to dance with the Chicago Moving Company and numerous independent artists. She has also worked with Jump Rhythm Jazz Project, the Humans, Anatomical Theatre, Concert Dance Inc., Perceptual Motion Inc., Hedwigs' Dancers Three and Commonlink (founding member), with Toronto, Mexico, and Brazil tours remaining the travel highlights. Mindy has choreographed solos for Estrogenfest, CMC's Company Works, Drinking & Writing's "Alley Fight" event, and a 3-sectioned ensemble piece featuring the live music of the Big Band of Chicago.

Keeping a foot in her theater background, she had also choreographed for Steve Mosqueda's "Torque" at the Neo-Futurarium and Timeline Theatre's "Hauptmann". This has been a full season of dancing with performances for Estogenfest, Drinking&Writing's "Alley Fight" event, Dance Shelter, The Other Dance Festival, Bucktown Arts Festival, and 40 Rothchild shows! Upcoming projects include "The Numb Project" at Hamlin Park in January/February with CBDC, "Silver Pillows" with CMC in April at Loyola Arts Museum and Breakbone's 4 week run of "DE-evolution of Mudwoman" at the Viaduct Theatre August-September. A graduate of Western Michigan University and the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, Mindy credits yoga, live jazz/big band music, and her Mom for keeping her together.
