Nadine Lollino studied dance therapy and psychology at Barat College in Lake
Forest, Illinois and graduated in 2000. After that she began teaching
Pilates while training at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy which
she completed in 2002. Nadine has been teaching yoga for the last three
years and occasionally teaches workshops in trance dance. Nadine
produced a dance/art performance at Links Hall in 2004 with a group she
and musician and love Bob Garrett created named PosterChild. Although
she does not work directly with movement therapy or psychology anymore,
she uses it daily to observe the world and herself with a less
judgmental eye. She has danced with the Anatomical Theatre, led by
Robynne Gravenhorst, and has choreographed and performed work for Motivity Dance Festival as well as her own self produced work at Links Hall, and at the Undershorts Film Festival. She hopes to continue producing her own work, attempting to add a glimpse of awareness and happiness
into our existence. Currently, Nadine is on tour with The Lion King Production and has been out on the road for about a year and a half.
Nadines favorite color is black, and it is because it contains all colors, it is dark, passionate, intense, mystical, secretive, empty but warm. The ONE thing that has inspired Nadine to get where she is now are the people that have believed in her. There have been a few people in her life who have full-heartedly supported and trusted her and helped open her eyes to the person she is. Even though some of them she does not see anymore, they speak to her daily with compassion and love to keep her on her path towards happiness and confidence in who she is. The ONE vision Nadine will make happen is going to India.
Nadine loves listening to Radiohead while driving, dancing, creating art, contemplating, breathing.
Nadines life motto: May all beings in all worlds find happiness and peace.
